The concept of "Smorrebrod" is Danish for "Smorr" meaning butter and "Brod" meaning Danish Rye Bread.This is a favourite lunch for the Scandinavians and the Danish in particular. We have based our menu on the famous Restaurant Schonnemann which has been offering this type of diet to the locals and visitors to Copenhagen since 1877.

The art of the Danish Open Sandwich is a feast on a plate and has proved to be a unique fresh offering of fish and meats on the very healthy Rye Bread.
